How do you set your prices?
We do extensive research both online and at local antique venues to decide on a fair asking price. Price is based on condition, rarity, and the market. We try to price our books at approximately about half of what book stores or other sellers charge on Bookfinder or other search engine results. We always set our prices below top dollar asking prices unless our items stand out with extreme rarity or condition.
Do you do consignments?
We rarely sell for other people. We are open to do so if the item is a highly desired high profit item for you and us. We wish to have nothing sitting in our store or your storage for long periods of time.
How often do you ship?
We ship by Fedex and U.S.P.S. at least two times per week each. We do not use UPS. We may use DHL or other delivery services for larger items. If we do, we will state so in the item ad.
Do you ship internationally?
We have shipped internationally many times. But we have found that our vintage items come with many customs issues. Due to this we no longer ship internationally other than Japan.
Do you sell new stuff made to look vintage?
No, we don't. All of our things are the genuine thing with genuine history. If by chance we come across something we have to offer that is new made to look old, we will clearly state so in the ad. But in 10 years, this has not happened so I do not expect it to occur.
